Anne Etzelmüller is a clinical psychologist and implementation researcher. During the last years, she has been involved in a number of randomized controlled trials and observational studies, with a focus on the evaluation of internet-based interventions for the treatment of depression and anxiety under routine conditions as well as their efficient implementation. Anne has a strong interest in innovative research methodologies.
Anne concluded her master’s in clinical psychology – with a focus on health psychology and research methods – at the Philips University Marburg, Germany. She achieved the licensure as Psychological Psychotherapist (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) in 2018. Currently, her research focuses on the evaluation of internet-based interventions under routine conditions and the improvement of the implementation of eHealth in Europe. She works as a researcher at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany and the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Since 2017, Anne is a scientific project manager in the content and research team at the GET.ON Institute/HelloBetter. As project manager within the MasterMind project, she was responsible for the coordination of the implementation of internet-based interventions in 5 European countries. In the ImpleMentAll project, she is responsible for the management of routine implementation activities of 13 implementation sites. In this scope, she monitors the activities of effective implementation of iCBT. In the H-Work project, she is responsible for the data management of all implementation data gathered within 10 small- or medium-sized organizations.
