Bianca Albers, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher and seasoned organisational leader, investigator, and project manager with 15+ years’ experience in promoting the uptake of evidence in policy and practice in health and human services. In her research, Bianca focuses on the usability and role of implementation frameworks as tools for guiding and structuring implementation practice and on strategies for building the capacity within organisations and services to develop, implement and sustain research-supported interventions. Systematic knowledge synthesis and qualitative methods have been central tools in this work. With a background in political science, Bianca also maintains a deep interest for the interface between implementation science and policy implementation. Bianca is an excellent networker with broad experience in international collaboration and a co-founder of the European Implementation Collaborative (EIC).
