Bryana Montoya
My name is Bryana Montoya, I am from the USA, specifically New Mexico. I studied Population help in my bachelor’s degree, and right now I am at the Barcelona Technology School, studying Master in Digital Healthcare.
What inspired you to study abroad?
First, I came here at Barcelona, probably three or four years ago and feel in love with the city. And when I graduated from my bachelor’s degree I was looking for a master’s program that was taking the next step in technology and health care and I found the Barcelona Technology School.
How is living in Barcelona?
I really enjoy living in Barcelona, I like the beaches here, the weather is so nice, right now it is spring, I never knew I liked spring until I came here to Barcelona! The people are so friendly and the culture here is very slow leisurely and I truly love it.
How do you see yourself in future?
So right now, I really like working in population health and political policies for health. And I am excited to see the tech side of this focus, I want to help create innovation in the healthcare system.
Are you developing new skills?
Yes, I would say that Barcelona Technology School has helped me develop a few new skills, like: Project Management, Information Technology in Health Care Systems, even just basic time management organizational skills actually.
Why would you recommend Barcelona Technology School?
I would recommend it because there is great staff here, it’s a good community and everybody really supports each other in their learning journey.
Is this time abroad impacting your life?
Oh yeah, it’s definitely impacting my life. I would say it’s something I would never regret, and It’s made me face new challenges that I really appreciate it.
How is your experience at Barcelona Technology School?
I would say it’s a 10 out of 10. I really enjoy the Barcelona Technology School, I enjoy the technical side of Barcelona being able to communicate to my peers online and in person and it’s a well hybrid school, so I appreciate that.
