Dr. Gerard Carot-Sans is an experienced medical writer and scientific communication specialist, with a strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, and pharmacy. After earning his PhD from the Universitat de Barcelona and conducting research for five years at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Gerard transitioned into the field of medical writing in 2014.
He currently works as a freelance medical writer, supporting top-tier research teams such as the STI and Skin NTD Unit at Fight AIDS and Infectious Diseases Foundation, and the DS3 research group at Catalan Health Service (CatSalut).
