Hello, my name is Iva, from Bulgaria. I’m studying Big Data and A.I. Solutions at BTS.
What inspired you to study abroad?
I’ve always loved traveling, but I really wanted to experience culture by living in another country.
How is living in Barcelona?
Living in Barcelona it’s been amazing. It’s a sunny city, the weather is great, and it’s a very alive city. Almost every week there is a fiesta, so people are partying around the city, I really enjoy Barcelona.
How do you see yourself in future?
I have a background in IT management, but I wanted to develop some hard skills and do more coding, this is why I decided to study here. Big Data is a really big area so there are a lot of opportunities to develop in the future so, we’ll see.
Are you developing new skills?
Definitely hard skills, this is why I’m here for. I’m developing soft skills as well. We are students from all over the world with different backgrounds, so it’s been amazing to communicate.
Why would you recommend Barcelona Technology School?
I would recommend Barcelona Technology School because of the professors; they’re coming straight from the industry so they know what they are talking about and they’re teaching the most important things that we will see in the industry.
Is this time abroad impacting your life?
Of course, I’m developing my network, meeting new people, and with the professors from BTS they also have a great variety of networks that we can connect to, it’s been amazing.
How is your experience at Barcelona Technology School?
The administrators are very supportive, they are here every morning, it’s very personal and we really feel supported by them. And of course, the lecturers, all my classmates who are amazing.
