Jorge Salazar
Jorge is a student of the Master in Big Data Solutions at Barcelona Technology School. He comes from Mexico and at BTS he is constantly learning new skills within big data, such as code programming, statistics and developing other personal skills. Jorge is fascinated by Barcelona and it´s friendly environment.
What inspired you to study abroad?
I already did a study abroad a few years ago and it is life-changing. You get to meet new people, you get to go to new places and you get to learn a lot.
How is living in Barcelona?
Barcelona is incredible, there is always something to do. You have nice weather, the people are very friendly, Barcelona is really, really good.
How do you see yourself in future?
I am not sure yet, because with this Master I have learned that there are a lot of possibilities, there is a world of places where you can end up. So, I am here to open myself and see what I can do.
Are you developing new skills?
Yes, here in Big Data I am learning about code programming, statistics… definitely, we are constantly learning, also outside the master we are developing new skills.
Why would you recommend Barcelona Technology School?
First of all, the staff is really friendly, the teachers are really experts in their area and I get to meet new people from all around the world.
Is this time abroad impacting your life?
Yes, it will stay in my life forever.
How is your experience at Barcelona Technology School?
It’s amazing, I feel that I have grown a lot as a person. I have developed new skills and I feel very motivated to continue here.
