Juan Manuel Jauregui Becker holds a PhD in Engineering Design and a Master degree (Cum Laude) in Mechanical Automation, both at the University of Twente. Jauregui-Becker´s experience includes having been Assistant Professor at the Design, Production and Management Lab at the University of Twente, and associate consultant on Lean Six Sigma and Industry 4.0 at Symbol Consultancy, both in the Netherlands. Jauregui-Becker´s past research and education has focused on industry 4.0 and Industrial Engineering fields. Jauregui-Becker supervised 7 PhD students during his career as a researcher. From his role as Assistant Professor, Jauregui-Becker has provided advice on Industry 4.0 to major Dutch hightech companies (e.g. PHILIPS, UNILEVER, Lely, APOLLO). Jauregui has also coached several transformation processes of companies adopting Industry 4.0.
