Hi, my name is Muskan, I am from India, I studied fashion and business before this and now I am studying Master in User Experience Design at BTS.
What inspired you to study abroad?
Well, it was for the experience, study abroad in a completely new city, pushes you out of your comfort zone. And you get too immersive yourself in a different culture, and meet new people and it just enriches your perception even more.
How is living in Barcelona?
No, but seriously living in Barcelona, it’s a beautiful city, it’s a city full of art, so that really encourages you to get out and walk around and explore the city. You have also got the beach, the mountains, the nightlife. You have to be careful, but it’s been incredible living here.
How do you see yourself in future?
I see myself as a UX designer for sure! I’ve really enjoyed conducting research and more recently designing and prototyping. So, I really hope to use these skills and work as a UX designer.
Are you developing new skills?
Yeah 100%, every single day the UX classes are designed in such a way that it addresses all the necessary skills a UX designer should have. So that is amazing and also the teachers that I have the privilege to learn from are all industrial experts. So, the depth and the knowledge that they bring to each class have been incredible.
Why would you recommend Barcelona Technology School?
I would recommend Barcelona Technology School because I think that it’s a great institution to level up and acquire skills to capitalize on. As I said you have industrial experts who come and teach you, you have peers that you get to interact with and it’s just a conducive environment to study in.
Is this time abroad impacting your life?
Yes, monumentally! My time here is really impacted my life and my experiences because I get to meet new people, and interact with so many people from all over the world and it’s just, as a UX designer you want such experiences to enrich your perception and your life more. So, I am glad that I am getting this opportunity.
How is your experience at Barcelona Technology School?
I would say it’s been totally worth it! Everything from the quality of education, the support from staff, the industry insights that teachers bring, my peers I have made really good friends, because of BTS. So, everything here has contributed to my experience being fantastic. So, shout out to everyone from BTS!
