Graduated in Medicine and Surgery / Specialist in Family and Community Medicine / Master in Healthcare Institution Management /  Master in Health Management in Primary Care.

Oscar has worked for as Family Doctor in several centers of the Catalan Health Institut and as Emergency Assistant at Hospital General de Catalunya and 061 (telephone assistance) for more than six years. He has owned a place in ICS. From 2001 to 2007, he rolled as Manager of the Cerdanyla-1 Primary Care Team Services, and then, from 2007t to 2012 as General Manager of the Cerdanyola-Ripollet Primary Care Service of the ICS. He managed the territorial unification of the two Primary Care Services of the Valles Occidental and directed it from 2012 to 2014.  Oscar had lead several technological projects such as the implementation of Remote Visit systems through the sending of complementary tests by email and SMS integrated into the e-cap Clinical Station with implementation in all ICS primary care.

Solans is also Principal Investigator at the APOF project: a project of care coordination between pharmacy and primary care offices with telemonitoring of various care processes with data integration in the clinical station of both systems. The Project has been implemented throughout the territory of the Vallès Occidental and winner of awards such as the  First Prize for Innovation in Primary Care by the Department of Health and CAMFIC 2006. In January 2017 he assumes as Head of the Functional Area of Shared Medical Record of Catalonia (HC3), as well as Head of the Transversal Health Platforms HC3, the CAT citizen @Salut LA Meva Salut and the IS3 provider, referral platform, in the Department of Health.
