Viktor Golubov
Viktor Golubov studies Master in Digital Solutions Development at Barcelona Technology School. He is very happy about his decision to go studying abroad and about the education he gets at BTS. Let’s see what Viktor has to tell about his life in Barcelona and studies at BTS.
What inspired you to study abroad?
Mainly, two things: first was parents. They really persuaded me to take this opportunity to go abroad, to go out of the comfort zone and to try something new. The second thing was my curiosity about how it is going out of Russia, how I can study in different society with different people.
How is living in Barcelona?
I’m living here for 4 months and I’m enjoying the atmosphere, people here. There’s an opportunity not only for hanging out with my friends and my classmates, but also from the professional point of view.
How do you see yourself in the near future?
I have some plans. I want to continue being here in Barcelona after graduating from BTS. And I want to work in a company and to see from the inside how it’s operating.
Are you developing new skills?
I am developing a lot of new skills here by using a tech part and I am getting a lot of new information on the subjects and from the people.
Why would you recommend Barcelona Technology School?
I would like to recommend BTS because it’s giving you two sides – the business part and the tech part, so you can choose either one of them or both, to go further.
Is this time abroad impacting your life?
Surely of course – I like this time and it has helped me build myself, to become more independent, to have different point of view on other things that before I even did not look for. It’s affecting me a lot and I really enjoy it.
How is your experience at Barcelona Technology School?
Firstly, I would go for tech, as real part of studying here and as being in the congresses and some conferences – it’s really vital and important for me. Second one, I would like to describe the community because here all my classmates are from different countries from all over the world. We can exchange our ideas and look from different perspectives on different things. And the third one would be a business part – we are trying to analyze how to run the business successfully – a startup or a company.
