Rosa Vivanco is a neurologist and researcher specialized in health technology assessment and healthcare service quality. She currently leads the Department of Health Technology Assessment and Healthcare Quality at the Agency for Health Quality and Assessment of Catalonia (AQuAS), where she also coordinates the Health System Assessment Area.
She has a strong background in clinical research and public health, with a focus on stroke epidemiology, environmental risk factors, and cardiovascular health, developed at institutions such as IMIM and Hospital del Mar, where she also practiced as a neurologist in the Epilepsy Unit.
Rosa combines clinical expertise, scientific rigor, and strategic vision to contribute to a more equitable and evidence-based healthcare system, focused on continuous quality improvement. She has been awarded competitive fellowships such as the Rio Hortega contract and has participated in multi-institutional research projects in collaboration with organizations like ISGlobal and CSIC.
