Tatiana De la Piedra
Tatiana is a student of the Master in Digital Transformation Leadership at Barcelona Technology School and she comes from Peru. For her, BTS offers the right balance between the curriculum and masterclasses, congress visits, guest speakers, and meet-ups to assure that students meet their objectives. In the future, Tatiana is eager to develop her own tech company or work for her country´s government with all the digital skills acquired at BTS.
What inspired you to study abroad?
I was working in a digital transformation project and I realized that this is what I want for my future professional life. Then I found this Master and I felt that everything was complete because of the curriculum, the city, the language, everything was perfect for me and so I decided.
How is living in Barcelona?
Barcelona is freedom for me, the city is super complete. You can find everything here, technology, good food, good music, the networking here is amazing and the whole experience is great.
How do you see yourself in future?
Well, I am working on that because with all of this new knowledge I want to be probably working on tech company or the government of my country to help improve it. But at the same time, I work in my own projects basing for my own purpose.
Are you developing new skills?
Sure. I study with people from other countries, different age, different backgrounds, its super enriching for me. All the courses have something super important for my professional life.
Why would you recommend Barcelona Technology School?
The school is great because it combines classes, practices and they impulse or drive to you to go to the Congresses and to build your own network. The staff, the professors and all the environment is great.
Is this time abroad impacting your life?
I am happy, I am studying every day something new. Barcelona is everything for me, I feel free here, I enjoy the city. The master is very complete. I am sure this will be one of the most important decisions of my life.
How is your experience at Barcelona Technology School?
So far it has been great because the school bring to us the opportunity to go to the Congress, to build our network in here and get to know other students from other Masters. The professors, the course, the curriculum are super complete. It’s a great experience!
