Hi, my name is Vanesa Stanimirovic, I’m studying the master in digital Transformation Leadership and I come from Vienna, Austria.

What inspired you to study abroad?

I’ve always dreamed about living abroad for a while and after my bachelor’s I thought it would be great to do my master’s abroad.

How is living in Barcelona?

Living in Barcelona is such an amazing experience, I love the city. It offers everything the sea, the mountains, amazing people— if someone asks me where they should study abroad, I will definitely say: go to Barcelona.

How do you see yourself in future?

In the future, I see myself as a professional who is helping companies to become more responsive to customer needs and changing environmental requirements, incorporating new technologies that we now a day have, but especially considering the people that are in and around the company. To show them how important is to have a clear vision and to know where you want to get and why.

Are you developing new skills?

For sure, I’m developing new skills. We’ve learned a lot about new technologies, for example, artificial intelligence, IoT, or 5G. On the other hand, I’m improving my soft skills such as communication, self-confidence, and self-organization.

Why would you recommend Barcelona Technology School?

I would highly recommend Barcelona Technology School because of many facts. Starting with the amazing staff which is always there to support and help us. Also, we can build networks with our professors, speakers, classmates, and even the students from other master programs. We also participate in nice events such as Smart City Expo or the Mobile World Congress.

Is this time abroad impacting your life?

I’m happy that I had the opportunity and pleasure to meet amazing people here. I love my class and being here.
