Vitor Seabra
Vitor Seabra comes from Brazil and he is a student of our Master in Digital Transformation Leadership. Listen to what Vitor has to tell about living in Barcelona and studying at BTS.
What inspired you to study abroad?
What inspired me to study abroad were mainly two things: first, when a was a 15 years old teenager I did my first exchange to New Zealand, and when I was living there, I knew I’d like to live abroad again at some time in the future. Apart from that, I also wanted to get out of my comfort zone and experience new things.
How is living in Barcelona?
Living in Barcelona has been a great experience so far. There are a lot of activities to do during the day, and its night life is amazing. I like the technology hub that Barcelona is turning itself into right now. I feel that there are many opportunities here. So far, I’m in love with this city.
How do you see yourself in the near future?
In the future, I see myself working in a project that I believe in such as working in start-up that is aligned with my values or being an entrepreneur and starting my own business.
Are you developing new skills?
Definitely. The master I’m doing right now is overall a business master with many different approaches, from finance to technology and human resources. So, I’m definitely developing new skills and getting better at the ones I already had.
Why would you recommend Barcelona Technology School?
I would recommend BTS because it allowed me to build a broad network with all my professors and colleagues, people from all around the world. This is something I’ll surely treasure.
How is your experience at Barcelona Technology School?
So far, my experience at Barcelona Technology School has been amazing. I went to many congresses and did a lot of things besides studying at Barcelona Technology School. Also, BTS staff goes the extra mile to help its students every day.
Is this time abroad impacting your life?
Studying abroad is having an impact on my life right now, as I’m sure it will in the future. I’ll treasure everything I’m living here in Barcelona, as well as all the networking I’ve been able to build so far. Besides, I’m convinced that what I’m learning here in the master is really updated in what comes to current market requirements, so I’m certain the knowledge and skills I’m acquiring right now will be quite useful down the line.
