What Happened in October at BTS?
October at Barcelona Technology School was a month full of energy, inspiration, and opportunities to connect, learn, and grow. From the start of the academic year to hands-on workshops and thought-provoking talks, students experienced firsthand what it means to be part of the BTS community.
Learning Through Immersive Experiences
This month, BTS became a hub for active learning. Welcome Day kicked off the academic year, helping students connect with peers, meet faculty, and dive into the BTS ecosystem. Soon after, creativity took center stage in Pablo Quintano’s Make.More.Magic workshop, where students collaborated on practical frameworks to turn ideas into meaningful progress.
These experiences showed that learning at BTS goes beyond lectures, it’s about doing, experimenting, and discovering new approaches in a supportive, interactive environment.
Exploring Technology and Innovation
October was also a month to explore the cutting edge of digital transformation. During the BTS Talk “How A.I. is Driving the Next Wave of Transformation”, Jordi Arrufí and Lluc Guarro Serrahima demonstrated how A.I. is reshaping strategy, innovation, and leadership across industries. Meanwhile, the Health2Tech session “Longevity by Design” with Yxel Moreno explored how neuroscience, data, and movement are redefining human longevity.
These sessions highlighted BTS as a place where students can engage with experts, ask questions, and see firsthand how technology and science shape the future.
Connecting Across Fields and Building Networks
Networking and collaboration were constant themes throughout the month. The Women’s Health Series launched with a session on Breast Cancer Awareness, featuring insights from Andrew Pieprzyk, Judit Giró Benet, Rubén Molina, Aline Noizet, and Andrea Barbiero. Students were able to interact with professionals from healthcare, technology, and business, learning how digital tools and research can drive meaningful impact.
By hosting and participating in these events, students not only gain knowledge but also expand their professional network, a key part of the BTS experience.
BTS is more than a campus, it’s a vibrant ecosystem. From workshops to talks, networking, and creative sessions, students explored, collaborated, and connected with peers and experts alike. Every moment reinforced the value of learning and innovation, showing that BTS students are truly shaping the digital future.
