Xavier Gumara

Xavier Gumara is an Engineering manager & Agile methodologies instructor at Barcelona Technology School. Xavier comes from Advinta a company that grow out of the Schibsted Marketplaces, where he is a technical product owner of a team of Data Engineers and Data Modeler working on Business Intelligence at scale. Xavier is an author of “Agile Business Intelligence Project Management” literature and practical case, as well as a co-author of “Business Intelligence Fundamentals” literature and practical case. At BTS, Xavier is instructor of Agile Methodologies within the Master in Big Data Solutions, where he focuses on teaching how Agile practices apply to Big Data, Data Science initiatives and analytics.
